Yahoo! set to reject Microsoft’s Offer

Rumours have been spreading fast on the Internet this weekend that on Monday the Yahoo! board is set to reject the Microsoft offer to buy the company. In the initial bid Microsoft offered $44.6bn (about $31 per share and options) but Yahoo! feel like the offer undervalues the company whose stock has risen sharply ever since Microsoft made the bid. So the Yahoo! board is going to hold out for more than the $31 per share that’s on offer.
