Sony Ericsson shows off new Windows phone

Sony Ericsson have been busy today in Barcelona ahead of the Mobile World Congress which starts Monday by showing the world their latest phone models and brands. A suprise was the XPERIA  model that runs on Windows Mobile.

xperiaSony Ericsson XPERIAâ„¢ X1 is a new brand that they hope will meet the growing need for mobile web communication and multimedia entertainment. The XPERIAâ„¢ X1, a stand-out arc slider mobile phone in a metal finish body that combines a 3 inch clear wide VGA display, touch screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The suprise is that it runs on the latest Windows Mobile OS rather than the usual Symbian OS.

The XPERIAâ„¢ X1 will be in shops in the second quarter of this year.
