WordPress 2.5 Stable released

Yes the much awaited Wordpress 2.5 is now released in stable version and available for download. So I like everything is got especially the media management part and multi-file upload function. The whole admin interface is an improvement that makes things easier to use.

Just like I wrote last weekbelow are some notable changes and for a detailed summary of changes checkout what Matt posted here at the main WordPress site. I can say they are some great improvements ever to happen to WordPress in a while.

  • Dashboard look and feel
  • Text Editor
  • Auto-upgrade of plugins
  • Improved image uploader
  • Widget handling
  • Administrators interface and navigation layout
  • Improved Write Interface
  • Improved Manage interface
  • Image handling (thumbnails, resizing and cropping)
  • Management of tags
  • Password strength checker
  • and more..

Check the changes in detail here and I am still testing it myself now. All you Wordpress users out there you need to upgrade to enjoy the experience.

    i like the image unloader and gallery feature in wp 2.5
